With an illustrious career spanning from the humble days of emerging in Agege council up to becoming the representative of the constituency and eventually emerging as the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly he has proven to be resilient, devoted and keen on serving his people. Cementing his reputation as a leading figure in the political landscape of the state, he has gone ahead to earn a sixth term and a re-election to represent Agege 1 State Constituency in the assembly on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC). In light of his good works in Agege and an endless appraisals from his people, Golden Stars Award as deemed it fit to honour him with two Awards which are, ‘Excellent man of the year’ and ‘Most influential politician of the year’.
